Title: Quantum computing with Fibonacci anyons

Abstract: The Fibonacci planar algebra is a fairly simple diagrammatic algebra, like Temperley-Lieb but with trivalent vertices. Fibonacci anyons are quasiparticles that could be used to physically perform computations in the Fibonacci planar algebra. I will explain how to use them to construct quantum gates, which would form the basic components of a quantum computer.
