One of our speakers, Ayaka Shimizu, created
some fun games based on knot theory. Ayaka is visiting UCSB during the winter 2012 quarter
from Osaka City University Advanced Mathematical Institute (OCAMI) in Japan.

On January 21, 2012 we funded women 6 to go to the
4th Annual Women
in Mathematics Symposium at Pomona College including 4 talks. Take a look
