MATH Summer Research Program

University of California, Santa Barbara

This is an eight-week program with the following goals: - Provide an opportunity to undergraduate students to have a research experience in mathematics. - Help students develop skills to communicate the results of  their research. -Produce scientific publications. -Encourage students to pursue a career in mathematics.

The UCSB Mathematics Summer Research Program for Undergraduates  is supported by the National Science Foundation.  Additionally, this year two students will be supported by the Research Training Groups in Topology and Geometry program.
